JANUARY 2024 TRESTLEBOARD
Greetings Brothers,
We have started the year with a great crowd. We had four visiting lodges represented as well as a good turn out from our lodge. The Tiler’s log verified 70 brothers in attendance. That is nothing short of spectacular.
As we normally do we welcomed our many visitors and distinguished persons. We then gave out visitations awards as follows: Lower Richland No. 406 claimed the State Traveling Gavel, Dentsville Lodge No. 398 reclaimed their flag, Pacific Lodge No. 325 reclaimed theirs as well, and Little Mountain Lodge No. 281 claim our flag. The BLTs will have some work to do. Sickness and distressed were then offered, including a neighbor of a brother who has burned down the previous night. Minutes were read and approved for the November and December meetings. One reinstatement was voted on and approved by the craft. The secretary and treasurer gave their monthly reports and all was satisfactory. We then set the work for the month. Please join us in the work and other happenings. Ron Lockaby has tickets for a gun ravel to be drawn at Grand Lodge in April. Contact him if interested in tickets.
I leave the craft with this question; why haven’t you been to the lodge lately? Is it a conflict with work? Or is it that you have disagreements with one of the other members? Everything can be worked through and obstacles can be overcome or removed. The lodge has been doing great things due to the great brothers that are members. We welcome all our brothers to come and share the experiences with us.
Next month our Regularly Stated Meeting will be on February 1st. We will eat at 6:30pm and the gavel will drop at 7:30pm.
