Fraternal Greetings Brothers,
On April 4, 2024, our stated business meeting was held. According to the tiler’s log, thirthy-seven brothers were in attendance. The Past Masters and the current and past Grand Lodge officers were introduced. Health and happiness were discussed with prayers for those mentioned and not mentioned. Minutes from the previous month were read and approved. We voted on one new candidate to join the lodge, as well as two reinstatements. All voting was favorable. We moved onto old business. The lodge was then called from labor to refreshment for the purpose of giving a sixty year pin to RW Johnny Morris. The lodge was then returned to labor to finish business. JW Casey had no update on the star in the lodge.
New business was then open to the lodge. A motion to hire someone to cut the grass was tabled until some prices were brought forth and could be presented to the brethren. RW Ron Lockaby has tickets for the Firelies game on May 11, 2024. Please contact him if you are interested in going. The secretary and treasurer gave their monthly reports and all was satisfactory.
We will be having an Entered Apprentice degree this month with one candidate going through. Practice will be held the Wednesday before. April 18, 2024, will be a Fellowcraft degree. Three candidates will be taking the degree. Practice will also be held the Wednesday before. Please come out and support the candidates and your lodge.
RW Ron Lockaby and WB Jud Close still have tickets for a gun raffle to be drawn at Grand Lodge in April, for a Henry 4570, series 500 rifle. The drawing will be 11:00 am on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Grand Lodge. Contact him if interested in tickets.
Brothers please support your lodge. We are doing good things and support and help is always welcomed. For whatever your reason is you do not come and join us, please revaluate and come. You are missed.
